The candidate will have a proven track record of success as a Solution Architect. The individual in this role would be responsible for overseeing the architecture process across the NFRR program. The candidate will have a pragmatic, execution focus with proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track record of researching, developing and communicating architectural standards and policies. The candidate will be responsible for aligning our assets, talent, and processes with business strategies and goals, through the development of architectural models, risk assessments, and process designs, and otherwise future-proofing the program s IT investments.


  • Develop program-level architectural standards and policies
  • Produce Regulatory Reporting architecture blueprint, multi-year technology roadmap and high-level solution design documents
  • Hands-on design/development of shared components and frameworks supporting Regulatory Reporting platform
  • Conduct proof of concepts to evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate in architecture blueprint
  • Mentor and consult with technical leads on detail designs
  • Ensure that the program s high-level technical designs are consistent with enterprise architectural standards
  • Ensure that the program s architectural objectives support a long term sustainable approach and prepare the program for expansion
  • Participate in architectural forums to ensure that NFRR program needs are represented
  • Work with other delivery partners to resolve cross-line-of-business design issues
  • Provide a viewpoint on the alignment of talent and recruiting with architectural objectives and identify related discrepancies and vulnerabilities
  • Develop or align related processes, such as disaster recovery or business continuity, with architectural models
  • Ensure that detail designs are consistent with architectural standards and high-level solution designs
  • Participate in daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor compliance with high-level designs and address related delivery issues
  • Produce risk analysis and risk mitigation plans related to architectural and solution design plans
  • Build strong relationships with technical leaders, program management, and executive leadership
  • Document progress and communicate to management and stakeholders
  • Provide support, documents, and artifacts as needed in order to support compliance partners


  • 5-8 years of experience in information technology (IT) architecture in the financial industry required
  • Extensive experience participating in Global Markets & Banking (GBAM) regulatory & data projects
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban. CSM or SaFE certified is helpful
  • Experience working with Big Data solutions using the Hadoop stack including tools such as hdfs, pig, python, spark, Hive, HBase, etc.
  • Experience working with the MERN stack particularly ExpressJS, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
  • 5+ years experience on enterprise-level projects as a solution or enterprise architect
  • Must possess leadership skills and experience
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must possess the ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas
  • Must possess the ability to work well with many different kinds of people, departments, and divisions
